Founder Journey

Why EPIC
exists.

A personal question.

Years of listening.

A quiet conviction.

EPIC Group began with a personal love of food — and, in time, a personal reckoning with how food and lifestyle shape long-term health. Years of quiet experimentation, and a long education from producers, farmers, chefs and hospitality professionals, slowly became the foundation of the company.

The learning

From a question
to a company.

The story is not about where I travelled. It is about what I was trying to understand. Each chapter is a stage of that learning — and a promise to keep learning out loud.

    A love of food

    Where it began

Long before EPIC Group existed, there was simply a love of eating. Family tables, late dinners, markets on the weekend. Food was pleasure first, and I asked very little of it beyond that.

"I loved food before I understood it."
    — Founder's note

    The body speaks
    Chapter II

    A quiet lesson

    The body speaks

Over time, enjoying food without understanding it caught up with me. Energy, sleep, digestion, mood — small signals that something in the way I was living needed attention. It was not dramatic. It was honest. It asked me to slow down and pay attention.

"The body is patient, but it keeps a record."
    — Journal entry

    Chapter III

    Years of experimentation

    Learning by doing

What followed was years of personal experimentation — nutrition, different dietary approaches, movement, sleep, recovery. I tried many things. Most taught me something. A few changed my life. The pattern that emerged was simple: small daily choices, held for a long time, matter more than any dramatic short-term solution.

"Small choices, kept for years, outperform every quick fix."
    — Studio notes

    Chapter IV

    The teachers

    Producers, farmers, chefs

Curiosity carried me around the world — to producers, farmers, chefs, restaurants and hospitality professionals. Every conversation added a lesson. About ingredients. About patience. About the quiet craft of feeding people well. I stopped looking for a single answer and started collecting better questions.

"Every producer I met made me a more humble eater."
    — Field notes

A place to share what was learned
    Chapter V

    The company

A place to share what was learned

EPIC Group was created to share those lessons. Not as medical advice. Not as diet trends. But as better ways of living — through food, hospitality, sourcing and thoughtful technology. The company is simply the vehicle. The lessons are the point, and the learning has no finish line.

"Not medical advice. Not a diet. Just better ways of living."
    — Founder's note

The conviction

"I did not set out to build a food company. I set out to understand how to eat, work and live a little better each year — and to share what I learned along the way."

Founder, EPIC Group

Curiosity

The habit that started everything.

Small choices

Held daily, compounded over years.
